Trenton Water Works automatically enrolls all addresses with suspected LSLs into its replacement program.

Dixon automatically enrolls eligible homeowners in the water pipe Repair Program which covers repairs to leaking underground residential water service pipes when the leak occurs between the water main and the exterior shut-off box.

St. Charles’ Water Line Insurance Program automatically enrolls eligible homeowners. This program acts as an "insurance policy" on water service lines to their homes, reimbursing up to $3,000 per property.

The LeadCare Illinois provides free testing, lead safety training, and support services such as education and sample collection for qualifying childcare facilities and providers, administered by their partner Elevate.

VA DOH’s LEAP Program includes funding for LSLR programs and is an educational resource for homeowners and utilities on LSLR.

Madison, WI replaced all lead service lines (private and public), using a program that reimbursed customers up to a fixed amount. Reimbursements were funded with revenue water tower antenna rental revenue.

Pittsburgh Water has a reimbursement program where households that voluntarily and proactively replaced private service lines are eligible for a reimbursement or stipend offsetting upfront replacement costs. Subsidies in the program are available for income-qualified residents; however, all customers can receive a $1000 stipend.

EPA’s Water TA connects communities to experts who help assess and implement solutions for their drinking water, sewage, and stormwater needs, including LSLR.

EPA has selected 29 Environmental Finance Centers (EFCs) to deliver targeted technical assistance to local governments, states, Tribes, Territories, and non-governmental organizations to protect public health and safeguard the environment. Under the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act, the selected EFCs will help communities access federal funding for water infrastructure improvements.
